The fares quoted above are one-way fares in Economy and Business classes, excluding sales taxes. The number of seats at these prices is limited. Fares may vary based on selected day of week and time of departure.

Business class fares quoted may require a 14-day advance purchase.

Conditions – Escape fare

ROUTES:

Available on VIA’s network.

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES:

Exchangeable with fees of 50% of the fare or minimum of $20 (per direction). Any difference in the fare will also be charged if you book a more expensive fare. The ticket is non-refundable.

STOP-OVERS:

One stop-over is permitted at no extra charge.

SEAT AVAILABILITY:

The number of seats is limited.
Some promotions, offers, discounts may not be applied to Escape fares. Please refer to the conditions of such promotions, offers and discounts to obtain additional information.
Effective July 5, 2016, Corporate Discounts can no longer be applied to Escape Fares.

Conditions – Business fares

ROUTES:

Quoted fares apply to a one-way ticket for one adult, before taxes, in Business class, for travel before December 31th 2018, to the stations of specified cities, including Sainte-Foy and Charny (Québec City), Dorval and Saint-Lambert (Montréal), Oshawa and Guildwood (Toronto) and Fallowfield (Ottawa).
The number of seats is limited.
These fares apply to tickets purchased on our web site, by telephone at 1 888 VIA-RAIL (1 888 842-7245) or 1 800 268-9503 (hearing impaired), or at one of our ticket counters.

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES:

Business class tickets are exchangeable and refundable with a service charge of 25% of fare (prior to departure).
If you already have tickets and wish to exchange them for new tickets to benefit from these fares, any service charges applicable to your original purchase will be collected before your new tickets are issued.

OTHER CONDITIONS:

These fares do not apply to tickets issued on rail passes or pass products such as BizPak, System or Corridor Canrailpass, VIA 6 Pak or commuter passes.

Requests must be submitted at least 60 days prior to the planned event. A minimum of 50 participants is required to obtain a discount on VIA Rail fares.

Convention attendees: Please do not complete the form. Simply contact the event planner to find out if you are eligible for this special fare. If you already have a discount code for the convention you are attending, please enter it when booking your tickets online using these simple instructions.

Tickets are subject to the conditions and restrictions of the fare plan to which the additional discount is being applied.
Discount does not apply to tickets issued on employee rail passes or pass products including BizPak, Canrailpass or Corridorpass. This discount cannot be combined with corporate fares, contra accounts or any promotional fare plan or coupon-based offer requiring a separate discount code.
